Dell was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. While growing up, he shared a love for playing sports and creating all kinds of art. Throughout his childhood he could be found doing one or the other. After he finished high school he went on to earn a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design. Now, when Dell creates hand-illustrated portraits, he uses his strong attention to detail and design knowledge to create stunningly vivid masterpieces.

Coming into his own as an artist, Dell has developed a style that is unique and memorable. He incorporates a raw, edgy and urban tone in his sports art. He uses textures and treated components to pull together compositions and showcase the excitement and emotion of sports figures. No details in his subjects are spared.
